The flowers this morning are offered to the glory of God and in memory of Sal Troia on what would have been his seventy eighth birthday this day, October 14th by his daughter Terry.

Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers are offered to Lone, Robert, Jack Henry and Kavie on the death of their father and grandfather, Ronald Bollmeyer this week and our thoughts and prayers are with Deacon Michelle Paradies as she prepares arrangements for the funeral of her grandmother, who died this past Friday.

Next Sunday is a very important day. There will be an abbreviated service followed by a survey that we will take together as a congregation to prepare ourselves to be of better service to our God as a congregation. The survey is part of a natural church development process that is vital to the future of NURC. Please make every attempt to here. We need 30 people to participate in this process. That means people have got to come out of the wood work for this. We will absolutely be done by 1 PM. Please, please come and participate.

Consistory meeting will follow the Natural Church Development Survey at 1 PM.

When we love others, we know that we belong to the truth & we feel at ease in the presence of God. But even if we don’t feel at ease in the presence of God, God is greater than our feelings. God knows everything. Dear friends, if we feel at ease in the presence of God, we will have the courage to come near to God. He will give us whatever we ask, because we obey God & do what pleases God. God wants us to have faith in His Son Jesus Christ & to love each other. This is also what Jesus taught us to do.
