Saturday, February 21st: Mardi Gras Parade
Join us for Mardi Gras Craft Carnival and Parade, Saturday, February 21st, 2004 from 1 PM - 3 PM in the Parish House. Open to all children 2-12 years of age! Donation appreciated but not necessary...everyone welcomed to celebrate the coming of Lent with us!

Friday, March 5th: World Day of Prayer
On Friday, March 5th a World Day of Prayer service will take at the Zion Lutheran Church, 6307 4th Avenue. Information: 718-492-5474.

Please help the day laborers by buttering rolls
The next tentatively scheduled roll buttering will take place on Sunday, February 22nd after service. The buttering rolls, to help the day laborers in Bensonhurst, takes place every other Sunday at the Parish House and is a joint project with Bay Ridge United Church.

Anna Schroeder, who is in the hospital;
Fran Erickson, who slipped on ice and is recovering;
the Rev. Bob Peterson, our organist, who suffers from Parkinson's Disease;
Eugene Ruotolo at Jewish Geriatric Center;
Alice Hightower who is recuperating at home from surgery
and Vivian Loew, wife of the pastor of the Chinese Christian Church, who died on Saturday from cancer.
